My last appointment at Amazing Lash studios in Cary was not good at all. My appointment was for 5 pm - after receiving phone calls throughout the day while I was working asking to move it to 5:30 because of a scheduling error, I had to call back and say that I needed the appointment to remain at 5 pm because I had to be somewhere at 6:30 and therefore 5:30 would be too late. I showed up for my appointment at 4:50, checked in, and washed my lashes. After waiting in the waiting room until 5:15, I finally asked the receptionist if someone was going to be helping me soon, as this was a refill appointment (around 1 hour in duration and I needed to leave by around 6:15 pm). The receptionist said she would go check with my stylist, she came back and said it would be 5 more minutes. At 5:30, I was finally sent back with a different stylist then planned, as several stylists went over their time and I was given the first available stylist. My stylist did a great job with my lashes, however, my appointment had to be cut short (30 min refill) because I had to leave by 6:15. When I checked out, I asked the receptionist if this could be complementary, as I waited for 30 minutes and had to have my appointment shortened due to no one being available to help me at my original appointment time of 5 pm. The receptionist said this was "over her head" and that it "didn't seem like a matter that would result in a complementary appointment". I have been coming to wavery place amazing lash since December, and have always had a pleasant experience until now. However, this one appointment changed everything for me. The receptionist was not willing to offer complementary services, or EVEN a discount, after I waited 30 extra minutes, and will now have to drive another 30 minutes for another refill within the next week. I asked for the manager's number to address the issue and was not given any information, my card was simply charged without fixing the issue.
