San Jose dental got me into the office on short notice. I had a post root canal complication. They listened and were responsive to my concerns that something wasn't right. Indeed it wasn't, they fixed the issue, treated me compassionately, and even called me later that day to make sure I was doing ok. The dental adjustment they did completely cleared up the issue.

I have been a long time patient of Rex Hoover DDS and then Andrew Hoover DDS, the practice is now being changed to another organization since Andrew Hoover is leaving. At my last appointment for cleaning, I was asked by the hygienist that to get a full complement of x-rays. I told him I get regular dental cleanings every 4 months with the Hoovers and I do not get x-rays unless there are symptoms and they regularly exam me. I also stated this has worked very well for me and presently I have had no symptoms as well as recently having a panoramic x ray by an orthodontist. The hygienist, asked me to sign a waiver to not getting x-rays as policy of the new ownership. In reading the waiver, one clause stated that if I sign the new organization would not warranty any work they did. I politely stated that I did not want to pay for a procedure I did not want, have not needed, nor sign a document that absolved the organization of any issues of their work. He understood and proceeded to do a fine job cleaning my teeth. When I went to pay, I was asked again to sign this document and once again had to explain that it was unreasonable to me to pay for a procedure that I did not want nor needed and sign a document that was unreasonable to me. I have had excellent care with Rex and Andrew Hoover and have no experience with the Dentists hired to take over. This review is about being unhappy with my experience of feeling I was being coerced into signing a document I felt unreasonable and paying for an x- ray I did not want.

The front desk was kind and pleasant as always, however the massage itself was somewhat uncomfortable. I've had many massages with Courtside and with various therapists. This was my least enjoyable. I will be back at some point but will be avoiding the current massage therapist at all costs.
