I highly recommend Animal Hospital of Streamwood because Dr. Getty and her whole staff are amazing! They are so caring and take all the time needed for our little ones every time we go there.

Amazing! I've been searching for a vet that genuinely cares and has time to talk to your about your concerns and I have finally found it! Yazmin (spelling?)spent time with me on the phone and had a very caring voice and listened to my concerns so that they could be addressed with the doctor. I am so grateful she was able to get my cat in a reasonable amount of days. Already my impression was beyond expectations, but then upon meeting the doctor I was even further impressed! My cat has been having urinary issues and we think it may be because of the introduction of a new kitten.We have been trying to help with that situation and find ways to alleviate her stress so she is no longer having these issues. Dr. Getty went above and beyond and even found a feeder and printed out what we should get to keep our little cat entertained in order to try and help reduce our other cat's stress. I have sadly come across several vets who have just lost the passion for their job and you feel as if you are a number. Here, that is not the case! I understand that any job can become monotonous, but pets are some people's children and the amazing bedside manner makes all the difference when you are dealing with an underlying health issue with your pet. Dr. Getty is one of the hidden treasures out there! You can tell she genuinely cares and is concerned for your pets well being. I can tell by my pets reaction around a vet and the technicians whether or not I've gone a good place. My cat who tends to be a bit standoffish if she doesn't know someone, was purring and nudging her head into the technician's stomach. I even got a compliment on what a sweet girl my cat was in our report. We are still trying to work out on what we can do to help my sweet girl, but I am happy I have one less thing to stress about knowing she is in good hands!
