We brought Emma Lynn in and found out that she had a septic infection due to a placenta not expelling itself when she had puppies days before. She was critical and they knew she needed care asap. They sent me to an animal emergency hospital who basically blew us off and wanted to charge enough to finance a car to even try to save her life. Our only option that night was to take her home, and call to have her euthanized the next day. The wonderful caregivers at Animal Care Clinic called asap that next morning after reading the notes from the hospital and pleaded with us to allow them to try to help her. At that point we were devistated about the night before. Yesterday, they were able to provide compassion, and provide Emma Lynn with the life saving surgery, care, medications, and love that literally saved her life! We feel that had it not been their ways of not only showing that they have compassion, but understanding how important it is to save the life of a family member, we would have said goodbye to Emma Lynn yesterday. Today, she is doing so much better and is completely on the mend. I thank everyone...the whole team for not only saving her life yesterday, but for also treating us like we actually mattered and we were part of the family...not just a checkbook. You guys have the most amazing caregivers there and are absolutely amazing people!
