The Staff got my pet seen immediately, and was very understanding and comforting seeing what a nervous wreck I was. Being it was Sunday I wasn't sure if my Cat was even going to get the chance to be seen, but they had no problem taking him right away. Within 10 minutes, I was speaking with a very competent, friendly, technician, who explained everything to me thoroughly as far as the diagnosis and treatment for my pet. The staff was extremely good about informing me of the financial situation and they did everything they could to make sure that it was affordable for me to be able to take care of my family pet. The veterinarian that ended up seeing my cat, was the best I have seen to date. He gave me more knowledge and understanding in 15 minutes, then I received from other vets my entire life. It was obvious that they were not in this business for the money. They have a passion for animals that is rare and thrilling to find. After explaining to the veterinarian that I did not have a regular vet, he mentioned that he practices at a non-emergency location as well, and would gladly continue to treat my cat for me. My cat came to me unexpectedly, however since having him I have fallen in love with him, and cringe at the thought of not having him in my life everyday. Like most people who own pets, they truly do become a major part of your family, a huge part of you. I have so much appreciation for the front office staff, the technicians, and the Veterinarian who took care of my cat "Chancey" that day. Their honesty, they're thoroughness, and their passion for what they do, truly saved my pet, and forever changed my opinions about Veterinarian Clinics. It is such a good feeling to know that there are still people out there who care about what they do, and I can only hope that they continue to stay in the field that they are truly meant to be in. Chancey is the first animal that I have allowed back in my home since losing my cat DADDY of 14 years. When DADDY got sick I had taken him to an animal hospital in Conroe, Texas, where I was simply told he had nothing but an asthma attack and was given a breathing treatment. I was then told by the veterinarian, to take him home and he would be fine. Within 1 hour our cat, that had become a huge part of my family for the last 14 years had passed away. My entire family was distraught, and not a day passes where he is not in my thoughts. I firmly believe that the Conroe Hospital rushed us out of there without fully checking him, especially after hearing at least three of the employees complain about how bad they did not want to be there that day, and could not wait to go home. THE ANIMAL EMERGENCY & URGENT CARE CLINIC OF THE WOODLANDS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE DIFFERENT FROM THE VET IN CONROE. If you have a pet, I greatly recommend the Animal Emergency and Urgent Care Center of the Woodlands to diagnose and treat your pet. Michael Thomas, DVM was the treating Veterinarian for my cat Chancey that day, and he was very compassionate, informative, and helpful to me and my cat. I will no longer be using the mobile vet clinic for my cat's care and treatment. Michael Thomas, DVM will officially be my pets treating Veterinarian @ PINE FOREST ANIMAL CLINIC located at 8823 Fawn Trail, Ste.A1 Conroe, Texas 77385. And should there ever have to be a time when my pet needs to be treated in the weekend hours or weeknight hours I will only go back to the Animal Emergency Urgent Care Center of the Woodlands located @ 27870 I-45 North The Woodlands, Texas 77385.
Sincerely, Angie Noble
