Dr. Amy was amazing with Emmy. We were seen on an emergency basis at the end of the day and she wasn't rushed or in a hurry. She took lots of time and asked lots of questions to address Emmy's problem with very bloody diarrhea. After a very thorough exam Dr. Amy prescribed meds. We were told we would receive a follow up phone call in 2 days to make sure the medicine was working. 24 hrs later she is feeling better already. Thanks Dr. Amy

We have been clients for about a year, but after this past Monday, Animal General has gained clients for life. I called a couple hours before my cats' regular exams and vaccines to see if Dr. Julie could take a look at my dog, Madigan, who hadn't been eating for a few days, and whose breathing had suddenly changed. She had also been dry heaving. Thankfully, they agreed to squeeze her in.
Cindy and Dr. Julie were absolutely fantastic. Cindy was very calming when talking with me, and when she was prepping Dr. Julie to come into the room, I overheard her relay -exactly- what I had told Cindy. It was the first time that day that I felt I was actually HEARD and that someone cared enough to listen. (We had been at another animal hospital a couple hours before, and even when Madigan vomited in the lobby, they didn't sense the urgency, even after I told them she hadn't been eating.)
Dr. Julie did a super job with the cats, as always, but it was her close attention to Madigan that was above and beyond. When doing her exam, they noticed my stoic dog flinch when palpating her abdomen, and they noticed that her eyes and gums were yellowish. Dr. Julie said that Maddy needed diagnostic work that was beyond what AGH could provide, and so they sent us to FVRC. Although the final outcome wasn't what any dog owner wants to go through, the care and concern that Dr. Julie and Cindy provided was what any pet owner wants- the very best for their furry family member. I can't thank you enough for the love and care you showed Maddy and me at a very scary time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Celeste is a fabulous groomer, she makes my boys look like show dogs! The staff and docs are all so friendly and caring when it comes to medical issues. Kudos to all!
