I had pain in my tooth, one that Dr. Leckowicz had warned me might become problematic. I called the office on Friday; Jennifer, the office manager, told me he was on vacation, but he could perhaps call me. She also sympathized with me and told me that I could call back during the weekend if I needed; there was coverage. I thought I should be okay as the pain was mild. Monday morning, first thing Dr. Paul called me. He suggested I come in for an x ray to see what was happening. I could go in on Monday afternoon. He looked at the x ray; “It is a good thing you came.” We looked at the x ray that showed remarkable deterioration from the last visit. He recommended the tooth be removed! His records showed the tooth had been crowned some time in 1990’s! I asked if he could do it then; the answer was, “yes!” At least I didn’t have time for much of any anticipation! It was relatively seamless, an old tooth. He was extremely complimentary about how well I had done; he is a smiling positive person! An implant is in my future.
