Service is always great. The staff is very courteous, caring, helpful, concern, and professional. They show interest in the care and well-being for your pet. I have been going there for a few years and I am pleased. I would definitely recommend Animal Wellness.

Called the office shortly after 9:00 AM and was given a 10:00 AM appointment. We were seen promptly and the Doctor was very thorough in examining Callie's left eye for possible cause of her problem. He explained everything and went over the procedure for giving the eye drops. Left there feeling much better about her prognosis and thankful that we were able to see them so quickly

As always, the staff met my needs. I love Dr. Darko and his concern for me and my dog. My dog has had a death sentence, and the prognosis is not good, but these people help fulfill his needs.

I wouldn't take my precious dog anywhere, but to Dr. Darko. He is a wonderful Vet. He is always very thorough, when examining my schnauzer. Dr. Darko is very good at explaining the problems my dog has and his techs are also very good. Everyone at Animal Wellness Clinic of Tamarac top notch.

Dr Darko and his staff are so nice, caring and understanding every time we bring our dog in! Our dog is not easy to handle, due to abuse BEFORE, coming to Animal Wellness of Tamarac, and everyone welcomes our dog and us and understands his lack of trust. Dr. Darko says every time we bring Roco in he gets a little better. Thank you to everyone in the office for taking care of Roco!!

Lauren the receptionist refers to your animal as their babies, I think that's insulting. I told her that and to stop it and she won't. During normal times M-F there is no Doctor there in the afternoon that can write a Rx for a controlled substance. Don't be misled by website. Dr. Darko only works part time and there are at least 2 other Vets there so it's not a Mom & Pop shop...too many hens in the house! Appt's are fairly easy to make and Dr. Darko at least is nice. He has a slight accent but understandable and seems caring about your animal. They take your animal into the exam room and don't invite you in...you need to insist it. The other receptionist there has a heavy Spanish accent. They will NOT e-prescribe a schedule IV controlled substance Rx which is possible they just refuse and you must pick up the script which they are nice about. They do have a Web/Pet Portal which is nice and you can get your rabies tags from them. They're not terrible but I've had better.
