About
Dr. Anne H. Dennehy graduated from Case Western Reserve University Dental School with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and later completed two additional years pediatric residency at Oregon Health Science University.This included concentrated training in oral sedation and hospital dentistry. Additionally, Dr. Dennehy trained for two years at Child Development and Rehabilitation Center (CDRC) with Dr. Peter Lax. Where she treated children with medical, physical, mental and emotional disorders. She worked in Labrador, Canada and has served on dental missions to Kenya and Uganda. In China she has studied the training of Chinese dentists and the dental needs of Chinese children. She has been in Medford since 1997 and is a pediatric dental specialist. All of her training and experience worldwide has confirmed that dental caries is 100% preventable and that knowledge is what she strives to instill in her patients and parents.She is a former president of the Portland Academy of Hypnosis and has training in mime. Dr. Dennehy is a charter member of the Appliance Practitioners Association (orthodontics), International Association of Orthodontics, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry and the Oregon Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.She has received her training in the use of laser in dentistry. Her office philosophy is heartfelt: "Children are a gift from God. They deserve to be treated with affection and respect for their dignity.
