I have been going to Apple Valley Eye Care since I can remember, and every single time I go there- for whatever reason- I receive the absolute best of the best care.
First, Dr. Bob is the most knowledgeable, thorough, and genuine eye doctor. So much so that when our insurance temporarily changed and didn't cover our eye visits, we paid out of pocket for our check ups. Every time I go in (once a year for the annual check up), he would take the time to ask me about how school was going, remembered the activities I was involved in, and asked how each of my siblings were doing. He patiently explained each eye test and what that meant for my eye health and always made each visit seriously fun. One Saturday night years ago, my eye was causing me excruciating and uncharacteristic pain. Dr. Blomquist met me right away at the office, cured my flare up, and changed my contact plan to prevent future issues (which there has been none!). He has always been a joy to have as our family eye doctor, and we will all miss him so much when he retires. He has created quite the legacy through Apple Valley Eye Care.
Secondly, Apple Valley Eye Care is truly a family of providers. The Optometrist Assistants, Contact Consultants, Glasses Gurus, and receptionists all are a joy to work with and go out of their way to care for you. Most have been there for many many years and some as long as I have been apart of Apple Valley Eye Care, and they always remember your name and family even if you haven't been into the eye doctor for over a year. Some above and beyond measures that have been really meaningful for me is their patience and knowledge when picking out glasses for this indecisive lady, perfect adjustment of my frames, shipping contacts within the week to my school when I run out, or if someone in my family doesn't realize they're down to their last pair of dailies, give us a trial pack until our order comes in (which is usually only a day later). Honestly, they really do what's best for you, and every time I leave Apple Valley Eye Care I think how much I enjoy my appointments and time there.

There is no one else I would trust with my eye care! I have been a patient here for a long time and I always receive exemplary care and treatment. And on top of that, everybody is just so nice and friendly- I feel like a family member from the time I walk in the door until the moment I leave. I feel like they care about me as a person and not just a client. Best eye clinic anywhere as far as I'm concerned!

From check in until I was out the door it was a great experience. Dr Wellik always takes the time to make sure my vision is perfect and the awesome support staff make you feel like you are visiting a friends house.

After having a terrible experience at a different eye clinic, I was apprehensive about my next eye exam. I didn’t have any reason to worry though, because Apple Valley Eye Care’s team is full of knowledgeable and positive people, making me look forward to coming back! Thank you!

I am so happy a friend referred me to this clinic! The entire staff is so friendly and goes out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied. Adjusting to wearing contacts has been a challenge for me and I have appreciated their help and patience.
