During and immediately following the recent electricity outage I called my regular pool maintenance/service company 4 times, never getting a person or a reply to any messages. On my first call to Aquarius Mitzi answered. She was cheerful, helpful and “Yes, they could send someone out. Not the next day, Tuesday, but hopefully Wednesday.” On Tuesday Mitzi called to say someone would be out Wednesday. JC came out, accessed the situation, explained everything to me and said the office would call with an estimate. Again, they did not disappoint. On Friday cheerful, efficient Mitzi called with the quote. I have every confidence that as soon as needed parts are available, they will be out to repair all.

Poor communication, lack of call back or answering of phone calls.

Aquarius Pool Service and Leak Detection replied:

Mrs Robinson your husband did call us on Friday afternoon after you and I had spoken on Friday morning. He did leave a voice mail stating he had questions regarding the estimate to repair the damage from the freeze. When we returned his call it says this caller is not accepting calls at this time. We will continue to try to reach out to him. We did leave a voice mail on your cell phone this morning. We do appreciate your business. Thank you for your patience.

We asked to have our pool vacuumed last week because we had just had our filter cleaned and there was all kind of debris in the pool and our service provider said he didn’t have a vacuum??? Not sure why you come here without the proper equipment, we had to do it ourselves which is not what we signed up for our what we were promised. We usually get really great service so hoping that was just a random event.

The technician comes on time each week and completes the necessary tasks. The pool looks very clean when he leaves.

Excellent service by personable technician. Identified the source of the leak, stabilized the system pending repair and checked the rest of the system for additional leaks, finding none.

Before calling Aquarius, I had called another company and when they were vague about scheduling times I began to question whether their leak folks were employees or contractors. The front desk person could not give me solid answers and the in-charge person could only say they were paid with via a 1099. This is disturbing because of where the liability would fall and with whom you are actually contracting with to do any repairs.

Aquarius folks are employees and CJ (?) was awesome! Very knowledgeable and thorough and could explain the issue in detail. They were willing to work out their schedule to coincide with mine and their rates are consistent for leak detection services.
