I have been a client of Aquillbrium for over 15 years. This past visit was the worst experience. I first had to wait 40 minutes for my appointment as my colour technician was running late. I always have a partial colour followed by a full head. This has always been the pattern. When I finially sat down expecting a full set of highlights I was told that a mistake had been made when booking and that this appointment was a half and my August appointment was the full. This type of error is unacceptable. My colour technician did say There is no one else available today to do a full set - thinking this statement would some how fix the error. It did not. Fixing the mistake would mean that I would have walked out with a full set of highlights. When I had finished processing - and looked at my hair, the hair around my face was over processed and was white in colour. There is a specific note in my file to this - as this happened before. The note specific tells that this area is highly sensitive. Again - another mistake which is in my opinion completely unaccawptable. I except that when coming for a service that this type of over processing should never occur again with a professional salon. My appointment was 40 minutes late staring - yet I walked out right on time. One would think that I would be 40 late getting out. What exactly happened to that 40 minutes? When I went to the front desk - absolutely nothing was offered to me in way of compensation for the lateness, the mistake in half/full set of highlight and then the huge mistake with over processing my hair. This in itself was unacceptable and not a reflection on a professional salon. A professional salon would have said - lets make this better - this appointment is on us please come back and we will make this right. I had to ask for something to be done. I was offere 15 percent off - which is really insulting - as this is what is given on your birthday month. I still have to come back - and trust - that you will make this right. Trust is an extremely important factor when dealing with a personal service such as hair. I am beyond disappointed in the service, and the lack of your responsibility to fix the gross errors made by your staff and salon.

I always enjoy my time at the salon with Heidi and John. I'm always treated like an old friend, and not just a client (although I HAVE been going to John for 20 years!). Always a perfect hair colour and cut. Makes it so easy for me to style myself!

I love Alex. She always knows exactly what I want. I just sit in the chair and she works her magic. The front desk is also fabulous! They are always so welcoming and accommodating of my schedule. I will always be back!

My experience was excellent, as always. The scalp massage alone during your hair wash is worth every penny!!!

Colour was amazing as usual, unfortunately the dry and style I had afterwards was the opposite. When asked do you want volume or keep it close to your head I said volume was fine and left with completely flat hair. I had to go out later so had to go home and wet, dry and restyle my hair. I understand that the stylist may never style it completely like the client is used to, but in this case, I left the salon with a style that I would never leave the house in. I appreciated her asking me how I wanted it styled but when she did the opposite it was disappointing.
