This was my first visit to Art of Touch. I wanted a microdermabrasion treatment, but I guess it's my fault for not asking more about what that visit would be like. I've been going to the same facialist in my previous state for 3 years. She always cleanses, steams, extracts, microderms, maybe does a mask, adds topical gel or cream to blemishes, and moisturizes and adds sun protection. This was strictly clean, microderm, moisturize/sun protection and go. While my facialist did a bang up job grinding away at my skin, I was surprised that no extractions happened and that no extra treatments were applied to my stressed out skin. Unfortunately, this has left me with pores that are still clogged and more bumps than I started with. I'm a little bummed and I'll be looking for another facialist in the area, but I wanted to qualify this review by stating I should have asked more questions. I will be better-armed next time.
