Aspen Dermatology was founded in 2004 by Karen Nern, M.D., a Board Certified Dermatologist to meet the skin care needs of Vail Valley. Dr. Karen Nern, Dr. Clare Foss, and specially trained dermatologic Physician Assistant Sarah Youngblood practice at both Edwards and Basalt.
Dermatology care includes treatment of skin cancer, rashes, psoriasis, acne, nail conditions, and hair loss. "Skin", the cosmetic extension to the clinic, offers cosmetic procedures such as spider vein therapy, Botox, collagen, Juvederm, laser hair removal, and chemical peels. Skin also offers skin care products only available in dermatology and plastic surgery clinics such as Obagi, Skin Medica, and Epionce lines. Current locations include Edwards (near Vail), Basalt (near Aspen), and a retail store in Vail Village, Colorado.
