I have visited several Aveda Salons and this one is the best! Always friendly, professional service. All of the staff is knowledgeable with the Aveda products. After 12 years of coming hereI have never walked out dissatisfied!

Unfortunately, I will not be returning to Astrid's. I made an appointment with Kaleb after reading the many reviews raving about his work. I was unfamiliar with the salon, but usually find Aveda salons to be great all around, I went in confident. Upon arrival, I was greeted with super friendly service and big smiles! I noticed lots of hair from previous clients on the floor and work station. I left feeling as though I did not get my money's worth. I was not confident the cut was what I wanted, I didn't feel an adequate amount of time was spent on the cut... I even asked about what was done to bring attention to the fact that parts of my hair were not cut at all (the length). While I usually love curling my hair, I was burned twice and felt like my hair was yanked on while drying. After leaving and looking at it in the mirror, I found there to be crimp marks at the end of the curls from the curling iron. When I got home I wanted to wash my hair and get all of the product out to see the cut better. I did not feel that fresh cut, silky smooth feeling I normally get after a hair cut. Two days later after blow drying, I noticed the lengths of the sides don't match up and it appears choppy. Overall, I am unhappy with my experience but found Kaleb and the receptionist to be very friendly and welcoming.

Disappointed again. First off, I never know what i'm being charged for or the cost of the services. It must be some big secret and that's why I quit going there in the first place. I buy my Aveda products online so I know the cost. I don't like feeling like l've just been bent over. Thanks anyway.

I loved the people in the Astrids Salon. The atmosphere and gentle considerate treatment get an A as well. However, when I returned home with my new hairstyle I have gotten these comments from family and friends. What happened to your hair? Your hair looked better before you went. The last hair cut you got at Great Clips looked much better. I am sad because my hair looks bad.
