We hired A-Team to replace both of our HVAC units. In the 2 1/2 months since having them replaced we have multiple issues beginning with the AC and then the furnace when the weather turned colder. Our home runs on propane and when the units were installed, they were not fitted properly but were instead fitted for natural gas causing a dangerous situation with both exhaust fumes and a flame that was burning too large for propane. As a result, both furnaces had to be replaced and while we were waiting for the repair, we were advised that we could continue using the units, however, when consulting with both our gas provider and another HVAC technician we were told it was not safe to do so. Definelty would not feel comfortable recommending them.


This is very disappointing to know you feel this way, especially as we were neighbors and have known each other for years. Additionally, we had installed (2) systems in your previous home and provided yearly maintenance. The air conditioning issue on the main level was due to a faulty control board which we replaced under warranty from the manufacturer. Once replaced, the low voltage short was resolved. Unfortunately, low voltage issues are intermittent and not always present while diagnosing. In reference to the furnaces, as soon as we discovered the furnaces we installed were for natural gas and not LP, we contacted the distributor and we paid to have them expediated as there were none in the area and it was a Friday afternoon. Within an hour of the furnaces arriving in our office Monday morning, we dispatched an install crew and had them replaced. In reference to that weekend and your concern that the pipes may freeze by keeping the furnaces turned off, Rodney only stated you could keep the thermostats on 50 since no one would be home as you were on vacation. He also mentioned he didnâ??t think it was necessary as the weather was not projected to go below freezing, nor did it. I wish we had realized there were lingering concerns yesterday when your husband was in our office so we could have addressed it directly.
