I arrived to find my usual dental hygienist was no longer there. Instead, I met a new person who was cordial, capable, and helpful -- a good experience. Afterwards at the front desk, I found there was a letter from the worker who had left to her clients, explaining a move across country in a way that reminded me of her and our friendly conversations in past visits. This was a good thing to do, if clients weren't notified by email or phone.
Negative: I hadn't been told that my dentist would not be in the office on the day of my appointment. Since he needed to check things for a possible future adjustment, had I known I would have this appointment. Instead, I was urged to make a short visit to see him on his return. Since I am in the middle of many arrangements for an obligation that will take me away from home in most of September, this was not welcome; but the staff were helpful in finding a day and time that worked best for me before then.
