Just moved to OBX. Looking for new dentist and was not looking forward to it. Seems like dentist always are up selling things. Not here they are awesome. Nice friendly and just give you the facts.

This was my first experience with preparation for a crown. He explained the whole procedure and had great technique with the shot to numb my mouth. Everything went well. Would highly recommend the Dr. Alex and his technician.

Would have been a five, but somehow the night guard, that was supposed to be done in two weeks, took two months. I called several times and was told they would check and get back to me, and never heard back. Finally, someone found out that it didn't get ordered and reordered it. Two weeks later it was in and ready. The appointment went extremely well, in at 9:00 out at 9:05. The staff is always very nice and attentive.

I was disappointed because they sent me home with a sore tooth.
I paid a lot of money for my husbands teeth for the last 2 yrs and always paid before. I have a balance of 700? and at that time I had Delta Dental of George and Delta Dental of North Carolina. I also had Delta Dental of Michigan for years. Why didn’t my first insurance pay for this too? Can’t believe I was sent home with half a tooth gone and cavity next to it and sore especially after they looked at it. I can’t pay 1195 upfront because I’ve been sick the last year and a half and not working.

Atlantic Dentistry is one of the best in my book. I’m a nervous wreck when it comes to visiting the dentist. Dr. Alex Thompson and his staff are awesome! He was very patient and kind. He explained everything. I want to give a shout out to Ashley who had to fix my broken crown. I love her! I can’t say enough about this about this practice. I would highly recommend them!!!

From soup to nuts it's always a pleasant experience - my dog might disagree on that - but from the human point of view it's great. Everyone is welcoming, and the entire staff show concern and consideration. We travel from Manteo and that's a fair distance but that is offset by the punctuality and readiness of the clinic and the staff. An 11am appointment means an 11am appointment, not an arrival at 11 and a wait until noon. On very rare occasions an animal in need of emergency care has delayed our appointment, but that was never a problem. If my dog needed emergency treatment I am sure that other clients in the waiting room would understand. The only regret from our last visit is that we didn't get to see Maybelline.Read More …
