This was my first visit to Atlas at the recommendation of my cat (exclusive) vet. The wait was a little longer than I expected, but it seemed several appointments were arriving and departing at the same time. The lobby was inviting, and there was a ready stash of treats on the counter for waiting pups. The techs and Dr. Miller were kind in their interactions with Millie and me and gentle as they got to know her. I appreciate all the time Dr. Miller took to answer the questions I had since there were so many with me being a new dog mom.

As always you all are great. My only issue, and why not 5 stars, is that I am still perplexed at the range of your estimates. For someone to be told that their cost could be between $500-$1300 is a bit hard to stomach. That being said I was lucky and got out at the lower end of my estimate. I do think that your doctors are great as well as your techs and front room staff.

All of the staff and vets at Atlas are very kind and treat the animals well. They seem genuinely interested in the well-being of the pets, giving helpful recommendations, and answering questions. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing.

The only downside I noticed was that dogs bother cats in the waiting room, even if cats are in carrying cases. I'm not sure what staff at Atlas could do help prevent this (since this is a problem dog owners could fix by being more courteous), but if there is anything that can be done about this that would be great.

Every person we talked to at Atlas, from making the appointment to walking out the door and to our post-visit follow-up call was amazing and invested in our dog being comfortable, happy, and healthy. The front desk staff were particularly accommodating of our dog and her fear of being around other dogs and put us in an exam room even though we were very early. I came in with a long list of questions, since this was our first vet visit, and the vet techs and Dr. Hodgdon answered every single question with care. Dr. Hodgdon was excellent- her expertise was very apparent, but she also made it very easy for us to understand as new dog owners. She also read our dog's body language closely and instructed us on how to stand with our dog during the exam to help keep her comforted. As a result, our dog was incredibly calm the entire visit- we were totally shocked, as she is never like this with strangers or new situations! We are so grateful to Alas for their excellent care and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.

As a side note, we were given a home urine sample collection kit (since our dog wouldn't urinate during the appointment) and I noticed the kit was from VCA Antech Diagnostics. I am aware of that laboratory company's reputation for threatening independent vet clinics with vindictive litigation and would like to encourage Atlas Vet to please consider a different diagnostic provider at the end of their contract with VCA Antech.

Bo is recovering well from his recent neuter. I appreciate the attentiveness and competency of Dr. Miller and all of the other staff members involved. I also cannot overstate how pleased I am with how well the staff is able to make my dog feel comfortable with them. Thank you all very much!

It’s been two days since I’ve had my hair colored and cut and I have zero regrets. Kendra was able to take the photo ideas I had and listen to my routine and give me something that would work for me. She was able to explain what she had in mind and why, which was helpful. Will absolutely return to see her.
