Dr. Farmer is awesome, friendly and professional. He has been our vet for a few years, and never orders anything unnecessary, for our dachshunds. Our pets receive the best care from the Farmers, and we drive 70 miles to take them to Animal Medical Center for the utmost in veterinary care.
Animal Medical Center was able to see our Velouria the same day we called (which was great since we were really worried about her). All the staff was super friendly and welcoming; Dr. Farmer is such a kind man and I really felt his care and concern for our girl. He was really thorough with her exam. He explained everything so well - offered us the available options. He gave us an estimate up front and I never felt pressured about anything. It was such a great experience even though we were so stressed and worried about our cat. I called a few days later because I had a question - no issues getting it answered at all. They even called the following week to see how she was doing. I can't say enough good things about this clinic! It was super clean too. I would/will recommend Animal Medical Clinic to everyone. Thanks again!
Dr. Gregg Farmer was very helpful, patient and knowledgable during the appointment. Our dog is going through some further testing for high liver levels and he took the time to explain all the details and answer all of our questions. Anytime a friend or neighbor asks for vet recommendations I always recommend Austin Animal Medical Center!
Animal Medical Center, located on Hwy 183 near Cameron Rd., is the vet we have taken our dog, Tony, to ever since we adopted him over 12 years ago. They are very courteous, efficient, and the prices are reasonable. In the waiting room, our wait to be seen by the doctor is almost always very short... about 5-10 minutes or so... and sometimes, no waiting at all. The atmosphere is pleasant, friendly, and clean. I DO wish the parking lot wasn't at such a steep slant toward the highway, though. Yes, I would recommend Austin Medical Center.
