Sorry you were dissatisfied with your service. Our level 1 buyer's inspection ($49.95) is our entry level buyer's inspection. It includes a general inspection of the vehicle. We VISUALLY inspect the entire vehicle and alert customers to any potential problems, such as fluid leaks, brakes, tires, power windows, power door locks, warning indicators, lights, hidden body damage, oil and fluid condition, etc. If a customer prefers a more comprehensive inspection, this is done at an additional charge. The more comprehensive inspection would include computer diagnostics to determine the actual cause of the airbag light. We try to offer a reasonably priced buyers' inspection for customer's who may bring multiple vehicles in for an inspection, which happens often. The $49.95 inspection is usually all the customer needs to make a purchase decision. As for the price on replacing the valve cover gasket, the labor time on that repair is 5.2 hours. $600.00 is definitely the correct price on that job.
