I was charge $189 for engine check after a diagnostic of a code. I took my car to pet boys and there was a no charge for a diagnostic if a did the engine check with them. I have to paid twice.
Auto Care Experts replied:
WE APPLY OUR DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE TOWARD THE REPAIR OF A VEHICLE TO BE FAIR TO OUR CUSTOMER. IN THIS CASE THE CUSTOMER DID NOT WANT TO REPAIR THE CAR AT THE TIME OF DIAGNOSTIC AND WE EVEN APPLY THE DIAGNOSTIC CHARGE TOWARD THE REPAIR IN THE FUTURE AT A LATER DATE IF SHE DECIDES TO REPAIR THE CAR. A MORE THAN FAIR OFFER.
