We've been getting our motorcycle and car serviced by Jaime for over 20 years, through the time that Auto City was on Divis, and now on Folsom. Also had all our body shop done by him as well. We trust Jaime so much that every time we get the car worked on, I take him and the guys a dozen Specialty's cookies to thank them. This time we had regular service and the brakes done. How did I know it was time to have the brakes done? Because Jaime told me it was. The last several times I've asked, he told me it wasn't time. Jaime is not a guy who does unnecessary repairs, and we have always been able to take the money he saves us to the bank.

I have been taking my car to Auto City Repair for many years. I have 2002 Mercedes and the car has alot of things have been going wrong.

had a intermittent rough idle when cold. hard to replicate. dropped off car, auto city checked it out, couldn't replicate problem. didn't charge us for looking at it. troubleshooting code showed no problem. told us to return if problem returns.

Once again I had prompt, friendly service @ Auto City Repair and the amount due was far less than I expected. I know both Jaime and Arturo as honest and straightforward business owners.

I do not drive much, but I had a leaking tire that they diagnosed (screw penetrated tread) and repaired, and my annual oil change and tire service.

My only misgiving about the shop is that the mechanical service intake doesn't go through that side of the business until 9-10 AM, while I would almost always want to bring the vehicle in sooner. HOWEVER, the body shop manager is very well versed in mechanical issues, so everything gets taken care of fine. Just a preference of mine.
