Apex Automotive is a full service automotive maintenance and repair shop that has had roots in the Ballard community since 1969. It was formerly known as Oddvar's Auto Repair prior to Oddvar Ogland's retirement. In 2008 we took over the shop and renamed it Apex Automotive. Under our watch we have retooled the shop to provide service to more modern automobiles. We continue to update our tooling and technology to keep up with current automotive trends.
We work on all makes and models of automobile.
We do everything from routine maintenance such as oil changes to in-depth diagnosis.
We consider ourselves your full service community auto shop. No job is too small or too large.

Apex Automotive provided me with excellent service and I will definitely be going back to them for all I my automotive needs. Not only was I greeted in a friendly and professional manner, but I recieved follow up calls and emails throughout the entire time they had my automobile. I was kept up to speed and informed on all issues and decisions on a daily basis. That level of communication is invaluable to me as a customer. When the work was done I was given a full explination by one of the technicians and he showed me everything that they had replaced, the old parts and why they needed replacing, even a few tips on how to keep my automobile running smoothly and safely in the future. My experience with Apex Automotive could not have been better. I've been a happy Apex customer for a couple years now, and have no plans to change that! They always have appointments within a day or so when I call to schedule, and remember me by name. I appreciate that they tell me about suggested future repairs, and are always honest about how urgently anything needs to be done, and exactly how much it will cost. Anytime I have a full day repair, I get to rock the sweet loaner Volvos they have available - bonus! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone, and I have sent multiple friends their way.

I took a car in for a buyer's inspection. It was completed right when I was told it would be and cost as much as I was told it was going to cost. The diagnoses was, refreshingly, both concise and honest. Included in the inspection, there is a checkup in 100 miles to make sure TCM codes aren't a problem. Consistently great service!
