Poor customer service. From the beginning, they all had poor bedside manners, seemed annoyed at any questions and rushed to get off the phone. In person, they were the exact same way. The doctor gives off the same vibe. Shes knowledgeable but also made me feel blown off and dismissed. They acted superior, made me very uncomfortable and unwanted and once again hated any questions... and if you have insurance that doesn't cover something, they tell you in a fashion as if you are poor. Maybe if I looked rich they'd treat me the way I deserved. It's a shame, I take my eye health very serious and I never felt I over asked anything.

Dr. Yee is amazing; however, the staff are rude. I have given top ratings in the past and hoped that by focusing on the great parts of this practice that the other parts would come up too. Now, I feel forced to focus on the areas of opportunity. On my recent visit, the front desk staff was rude to me and mocked me. The person performing the initial testing seemed like she did not know how to work the machine or provide adequate instructions on where my chin and forehead should go. Finally, I was not afforded the privilege of seeing Dr. Yee, and was informed she was busy so I would receive my exam from someone else. This news was provided when the other examiner entered the room, and not when I booked the appointment, nor at the time when I checked in. It felt deceptive. If I return, I will confirm my appointment is with Dr. Yee. And if her staff are disrespectful to me again, I will not return.

EXCELLENT CARE & SUPERB CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was made to feel that I mattered from the very moment I arrived! This was my second consecutive year visit with Dr. Yee and I am convinced I've found my Optometrist tribe! I HIGHLY recommend Avant-Garde for and will continue to refer my family and friends ...
