This facility runs discount specials on their already low prices to allow students the experience working with live models. Yesterday I received a haircut I normally pay $125 for at a salon, the educator and the student were fabulous. At one point, four students watched while the educator showed them a cutting style and their enthusiasm and her experienced hands resulted in the best haircut I have had in years. The facility is lovely, the prices are affordable and where else do you get this much attention to detail?

I had a good experience. I am not used to having to explain my haircut and don't know the terminology but having the educator review before and after was reassuring. The time was a little longer than expected but overall happy with my cut.

The student stylist was very friendly, personable and knowledgable. The teacher made some very helpful suggestions. I love my haircut! It does take more time than in a regular salon since the students works slower and needs to stop and get input from the teacher, so make sure you plan for the extra time.

I would highly recommend the Aveda products. My rating of the Aveda Institute was not a pleasant experience. The length of time spent and the outcome of my hair style was not plesant!
