Had a pedicure. Was disappointed that cuticle trimmers were not permitted & polish smeared hours later. Student was very pleasant.

This wasn’t the best experience, sadly here at aveda. I am understanding that this is school and a learning experience. However, my appointment was at 2pm. My hair cut and color took a total of 4 hours, I did not leave aveda till 6pm. Timing wasnt officent, knowing that my stylist took a few smoking breaks. Before leaving going over my color and how I felt about the results we discussed how my color towards my roots (more natural hair pulled a more brass tone.) The recommendations made by both the student and teacher, was to purchase purple shampoo (that I could even buy at Walmart) if in facted the results don’t come out the way I had imagined then to return and have another toner added. I loved the end of my hair and the way it blended. But, my disappointment was in the teacher, this is a school to correct and help the students have successful clients? It was a lot of back and forth with the teachers, lack of consistency. If I had more time, I would probably most likely would have liked to correct my color then. However, being that I was already there for 4 hours I didn’t have it in my schedule to continue. Currently trying the purple shampoo and hope that it does work (at home). I’m unable to make another appointment until next, because I have an important wedding event to attend to this weekend. This now cost me not only money but most importantly my time. To follow this, when I went to check out I wasn’t able to add a tip. This was beyond frustrating, when told that you no longer have that policy; to go to the cvs across the street for cash back. I ended up leaving aveda around 6:45. I’m not sure why this policy changed? A hair cut and color service costing around 100-150$ should be allowed to leave a tip! If this is to save cost by the merchant?! Seems to be ridulous for such a prominent company!

I had a great back facial yesterday. It was my third, and I did not need any extractions this time. It must be working! I enjoy every visit, but the student yesterday was exceptional.

This was the most professional and efficient dentist visit I have ever had. I don't usually take the time to complete reviews or surveys, but I was so impressed with the entire experience I feel obligated to let everyone know what a great job they did. To begin, when I scheduled an appointment I asked to be put on the cancellation list, with hopes I might hear something, but with low expectations that I actually would (based on past experiences). To my surprise, I was called multiple times by the office asking if I was available for an earlier appointment when they had cancellations. I was so impressed with this, especially since there were a few times I had to decline the earlier appointment before I could change my schedule. Further, when my appointment was scheduled and my insurance was being verified, there were some issues with getting approval from my insurance. Susan and the front desk team made many phone calls to me and my insurance to make sure everything was correct. My hygienist was knowledgeable and explained all the procedures to me. Dr. Wilson took the time to explain my visit and his recommendations. I never know how thorough a dental visit should really be, I really felt they were taking the time to evaluate my dental health. Truly top-notch! My friend recommended this office to me, and I will make sure to do the same to anyone I know looking for a dentist. Great job to all!!
