Great service and great haircut. I have been pleasantly surprised with the quality of my haircuts each time I've been here.The students are well trained and the instructors are always circulating and checking in. It does take longer than a haircut at a typical salon would take, but that is to be expected and is totally worth it.

This wasn't my first haircut at this location, but it was most definitely the quickest! I generally expect to be in my seat for about 2 hours, give or take, but this was the first time it was under an hour.

Each time I leave here, I get compliments on the cut; the student stylists seem to be well-taught, and each teacher is kind & helpful.

For the money charged and time it takes I was expecting the students to be more progressed in their schooling, and at the very least, the teachers to be more involved in coaching them. I think my expectations were hair stylists in an "Aveda finishing school" given the higher brand perception that I had and the fact that they charge money, but the reality was more like brand new students learning the basics (how to cut a guide line, what and how to layer).

In both instances a teacher came when requested by a student to ask a simple question, but then didn't stay to see them implement - how can they tell what or how well the student's command of the skill is? I give this feedback because in the case of my haircut my layers were not as I asked for but since it took 2 hours I just said it was fine so I could get on with my day.

There were people who seemed more enthusiastic with their results so it may have been my pairing.

Hair still had so much toner left that I had to buy clarifying shampoo to get it out.

Had booked using a promotion that was noted on my reservation, front desk didn't notice until after I asked but they had already charged my card.
