Please encourage your students to use the stylist chair to guide the clients head when they are coloring. Having the arms over my head as they applied product to the front of my head, but didn't turn the chair so I would face them was awkward and not ideal for long term strain on their body. Teach them to use the chair to their advantage. It's 360 for a reason. :) Ask the client to move their head as the application progresses. It's ok to "guide us." Please Please Please! When processing, make sure your client doesn't have any bleach on their neck, ears, behind the ears. Please don't leave us to sit like that. The bleach is itchy when it begins to dry. Bonus tip! Please use a wet towel to wipe v a dry towel. Spritz the towel and then apply to the skin. Less rubbing. Lastly....when shampooing at the bowl, again, "guide us! Don't be afraid to lift our heads, turn it, or ask us to lift as they're rinsing. I walked out with lingering bleach on my neckline, behind my ear lobes that had dried & OMG!!!! did it itch!!! Please make sure it's all removed. I will be back! I do love the school.
