My stylist was very professional and friendly. He listened to my thoughts and feedback on my hair and worked with me to get a great result. He also checked in with instructors as needed. I am really pleased with the results!

I have always had a good experience with the students at Aveda Institute, but I did not have a good experience on my most recent experience with "Campbell". She was very disrespectful of my sensory issues, as I have a sensitive scalp. She said, "I don't understand people who have a sensitive scalp. I'm like you didn't get over that in childhood!?". She pulled my hair so hard that my head hurt for hours later. She also made a lot of rude comments throughout the visit. She cut off way more than I had asked her too, and hacked off a big chunk around my face. She clearly does not respect boundaries. She even tried talking me into cutting off more hair than I had wanted. I have always had a positive experience here, but this time I did not.

I had my roots touched up. My cosmetology student was very thorough, skilled and considerate. She made excellent styling product suggestions too. I would have probably done highlights or interesting color if the suggestion was made, but I left happy. The service took 2 hrs.

Love the students and instructors at Aveda. Everyone always does a wonderful job. Just remember patience! Students are learning serious skills to make their clients happy and satisfied, so be kind.
