Had a wonderful experience at the Aveda Institute for a haircut and botanical repair treatment. The students are very careful to ask exactly what you want, and the instructor checks in at each crucial step (but not excessively). The haircut takes longer than a typical salon, but it’s worth it for the price and I always love getting my hair washed there!

Aveda Institute Seattle is a great place to get your hair done by students who have direct access to instructors at all times. The general mood is very professional and the students are always thoughtful, respectful and interesting to talk too.

I've been coming here for years and the only negative is the amount of time that services take. This is to be expected at a school though and the savings are well worth it.
