Avissa is my née go to salon for waxing. Their brown sugar wax is more gentle on my sensitive skin and the esthetician’s are very personable and professional. Prices are competitive and their attention to detail means my wax looks great every time!

My hair cut does look nice but after telling the stylist that my hair was naturally wavy and that’s what I wanted my new hair cut to accentuate she proceeded to blow out my hair into a very straight look which I did not like. Other than that it is a very pretty hair cut.

this was my first time coloring my hair, and Kimia did a GREAT job! She helped me choose a color that didn’t involve bleaching my hair first which i really appreciated. She’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and so fun! I enjoyed my appointment very much and my hair turned out just the way I wanted it to! Highly recommend! I will definitely be back.

Staff are very kind and accommodating! It was very appreciated that even though a staff member called in they were able to keep my appointment during a time that worked with my schedule :)

The stylist did not wash my hair and instead proceeded to load it up with oil and straighten it. Then began cutting it randomly around my head. I had to point out to her areas of bulk to try to get both sides somewhat even. Then even as she removed my cape she kept cutting places she had “missed”. The cut cost $50 dollars (no tip included) and I looked like a matted oily mess leaving that I was embarrassed to be seen. There was no styling, nothing so I couldn’t see accurately what had been done. Once home I washed my hair and blow dried it out only to find that one side of my Bob is about an inch to an inch and a half longer on one side. The back is cut bluntly across the back and then the sides are literally two long chunks of hair instead of being a gradual gradation from the back to the front like I asked for. Additionally there are long random missed pieces all around, places where the hair was cut too short so a chunk is obviously missing, the layering is uneven all the way around and even the two longer pieces at the front that aren’t cut to the same length consist of two different amounts of hair (on one side the long chunk includes a section of hair from from my face to the ear and the other it’s only about a 2inch section). I’ve have never had such a terrible experience. If I could give it zero stars I would. I’m having to get my haircut corrected at a different salon today because I’m so embarrassed by how bad it is. It looks worse that something I could have done myself at home just eye balling it.
