My dentist Dr. Tobler is the best dentist I have ever gone to at 73 that's a lot of dentist! I can sit back and relax because I know I'm in good hands. I just had a crown done and it was painless, but even better than that Dr. Tobler was not so aggressively in my mouth fixing my tooth that he was unaware of my body language that showed my discomfort. I think sometimes dentists are so intent on their work they forget that they're working on a person. I can not thank Dr. Tobler enough for the care they have shown me as they take care of my teeth.

Staff is super friendly and courteous. Top of the line dental technology is available. No need to go anywhere else! The only thing they can do to improve is get online bill pay.

The dentist at this office insisted that it was necessary to remove all amalgam fillings and replace them with another type of white filling materials. I am 32 and in good health, and after getting a second opinion, did not do so. He would no longer provide treatment after I did not agree to the unnecessary and costly services he wanted to provide.

I have been going to Ballard Dental Arts for nearly 4 years now, and I have had an incredibly positive experience as a patient here. From the minute you walk in the door, the front desk staff welcomes you warmly - even at 7am! I love that nothing feels overly "clinical"; the people are warm, the waiting area is lovely, and it's easy to forget you're at the dentist to begin with. Dr. Tobler and the rest of the staff always put me at ease, and are skilled in communicating issues that may initially feel complex and/or overwhelming. I recommend Ballard Dental Arts to anyone who mentions needing a dentist - I cannot say enough good things about this practice!

Typically more than 30 minutes in the lobby but on my final visit it was more than an hour. Then when I was ready to pack up and leave my hygienist went to grab a toothbrush. I was anxious to leave so I got ready and stood in the doorway after about 3 minutes and observed the hygieneist in the supply closet chatting with a receptionist. Figuring it was not my business I waited for close to 5 minutes while the conversation appeared to be social ( laughter) another hygieneist noticed me waiting and embarrassedly grabbed the chatty forgetful hygieneist. She returned without apology and tried to up sell me on an expensive gum cleaning. Making me wait 8 minutes for a supply closet toothbrush is forgiveable but unprofessional when I have spent already an hour in the waiting room. I will not be back.

As a dental phobia patient - They had compassion and took care of me so well that I felt more confident after my visit. Can't wait 'til the next. Well, that's not quite true, but I'm glad I found them.
