We were a bit disappointed with the young lady who treated Noah. She was nice but seemed inexperienced. She did OK cleaning and treating the ears, but had to try and try to draw blood. She finally got the blood and then attempted to clip his dewclaws and cut one too short and he bled and bled. (I'm sure Noah didn't appreciate that.) He was still bleeding when he got in the car. And it wasn't because Noah was acting up, he was a very good boy and tolerated the treatments well. She had said she would give him a shot to help his itching but she did not do that. For the ill treatment of the dog, heartworm test and the flea/heartworm medicine we paid $174.00. Then we wanted to get him shaved down close for the summer. I had already talked to the groomer a few days before we were there she told me it would cost $100.00. But when I tried to make an appointment to get it done the girl told me that the groomer didn't like to do big dogs. I told her that I had already talked to the groomer and she had said she would do him. So she went to talk to the groomer and the groomer said she would do it but she would charge us $250.00 to shave him. We spare no expense when it comes to our animals and we pay cash, but I thought that was outrageous. I am sorry but I don't think Mr. Lawrence will be bringing Noah back to Bates County Vets.
Our dog was sick from drinking out of a bowl of water and some cleaner in it, that we were using to clean up a knew house we just got. So, we called 30 minutes before closing time and they said to go ahead and bring her in, so we did. They looked our dog over, gave us some medicine and food. The next day she was back to her normal self! I will definitely be taking my dog here from now on. The people were so nice! Great Place! I will recommend them to anyone.
Thanks Renee for your kindness! It means the world to us!

Thank you for your feedback. Always glad to hear from great clients.
Bates County Veterinary Clinic was patient and welcoming during our visit. While visiting the vet is never a fun experience, my pet and I had a good experience with my pet getting groomed and going through a regular annual check-in.
