I do not wait more than 30 minutes at a doc appt unless I am told that they are running late; that is just courtesy and the simplest respect of patient's time. I arrived early for my follow-up appt, and just it reach 30 min past my appt time and I was preparing to leave, I was called back to an exam room. It was then another 15 min wait, and then the doc came in and my 3-min follow-up happened (that's all I expected it would be, so no problem with the brevity of the appt itself). The people are friendly, the docs are competent, but I heard comments from other patients as well about the chronic running late. Next time I'll schedule for the first appt slot of the day. As with many physician's offices, there seems to be zero consideration that the patients' time is also valuable. For those of us with jobs, this is not at all appreciated.
