I rarely go to the vet, so this was my first vet experience. I was very apprehensive about taking him in but had no choice since my poor dog was having blood in his urine. I found out he needed to have surgery to remove a bladder stone that was quite large. Dr, Hung was so kind and communicated very well. She kept me in the loop at each step of my dog. The staff at Bear Creek Vet hospital were courteous and respectful. I felt so much relief even knowing my dog would have surgery because I felt that he was in genuinely kind and honest hands. At every step of the way either through phone call or an email Dr. Hung gave me more than enough information about what to expect and my next steps and then even encouraged questions. I felt so lucky to have found this practice.
I had a wonderful experience at Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital with my 2 month old kitten. We went in for a check-up exam and they explained everything in detail to me, made sure to ask me if I had any questions, and were overall very polite. Also, I love that they have an app! This makes it easy and convenient to find his information, records, upcoming appointments, and when shots/treatments are due!
Yesterday our kitty had a "flexible" appointment at Bear Creek since she likes to HIDE on her Vet appointment days. We sure appreciated their flexibility, and have been clients of Bear Creek Vet since moving to Stockton in 2006. They have helped us treat a senior cat with kidney disease, who lived to be almost 22 years old. They helped us navigate a difficult diagnosis with a tamed, feral cat pet, and a traumatic situation last year with another feral cat, which ended very well, thanks to their help! Currently, they provide excellent advice, diagnosis, treatment, and preventative care for pet cats (all formerly feral). Dr Singh and Dr. Connie are both very analytical and thorough in diagnosing complicated health and behavioral issues. A major PLUS!
They sell (at reasonable cost) many choices for flea and worm prevention, and foods for pets needing special diets (for treatment or for prevention). Their staff is friendly and helpful, and their new office offers state-of-the art treatment rooms and lobby. They also have scanned for microchips (free), many stray pets in our area, found by citizens trying to locate owners. Parking is ample, and free! They also offer services such as grooming, boarding, microchipping, and many other services.
We have been going to Bear Creek vet for over 15 years, and I would never consider changing. It is obvious that the entire staff loves animals and make you feel that your pet is very special and their top priority. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. They also provide support and tenderness to the owner's especially when hearing bad news or loosing a loved one. I have the upmost respect and trust for Bear Creek Veterinary Hospital.
