From the moment I walked in, I fell in love. Zim (I think the manager) is super friendly and so sweet. He gave me a tour of the salon which is very chic and all white modern interior. The super large round mirror station belongs to Becker and there are a couple of other smaller versions of the same station. It felt very open. The white walls are adorned with large format colorful paintings of a local artists, which add a perfect balance to the bright interior.
As I sat, I was offered several options of beverages (not your grandma's salon). I chose a glass of Sancere...I mean wow! And a glass of iced water. Becker couldn't have been more enjoyable and knowledgable. I explained to him that I wanted my hair shorter, a bit of modern, edgy, chic bob. I said, "Make me look sexy, not like a soccer mom!". After Jen washed my hair in a reclined chair that massaged my whole backside (fabulous touch), Becker began his magic using a razor. The result was short of perfection. I think it has to have been one of the best haircuts I've ever had. He really is masterful! The only negative is the price. It cost me $250 for that experience. Was it worth it? I love the result, so it's hard to say, but I guess if it were $200 I would have felt better about it.
I cannot wait to go back and try out the color. I hope he will deliver the same results. Like anything, consistency is key! I have a feeling he will, though!
