My dogs have been going to Belle Haven Animal Medical Center for about 9 years. As a transplant 11yrs ago I struggled to find a vet clinic that really met my needs as a human, and that my dogs didn't resist going too- this was my third vet and our final stop! At the time I had 2 active lab-mixes who were 2 & 5, and the clinic was amazing as we shifted from a home of active large dogs to a slower pace. The development of anxiety mixed with extreme fear in one of my dogs lead to a sudden and unexpected farewell, while our other dog at 14 enjoyed being the only dog for the first time in her life until her sad departure at almost 16yrs- not bad for a once skinny & sick feral pup. The personal notes from the vets/tech who knew our dogs were spot on and heartfelt, making the choice is never easy, and I felt supported, knowledgeable, and knew we had tired all our options for both to sustain a pain free life as long as possible. Now, we're ushering in a new puppy, a new breed of mutt for our home and a pint-sized love. She just had her spay amid the new COVID process, for what it is/must be, it was great, all my questions were answered, and I knew she was in good hands. She's still mad at me, but she's doing great and I know her effervescent self will return soon.

We are worried about our Taffy and her declining health. Dr Paulo has been excellent but Taffy is not responding and am hoping we hear something today about Taffy’s condition.

We took Jax at 11.00 am for an ultrasound, that was supposed to be done between 11 and noon, my husband waited in the parking lot for Jax since it didn't make sense to come back home, just to go right back for him. He called 3 times to check on Jax and when he was going to be done, and was told that he was almost ready, around 2.45 the front desk called to check him out, my husband paid the bill and was told that Jax was going to be right out. Many dogs were returned to their owners but not Jax, I called at 3.15 and they told him they were taking him out. Around 3.30 they came out with a dog that was not my dog, and called me to ask me what car where we in, I told the person who called the color and model of our car and also told her that the dog that they were bringing to us was not our dog. She was a bit confused and returned inside with the dog and came back a bit later with Jax, after my husband left, they called me to tell me that they forgot to give me Jax prescription. That I needed to go back. I asked for updates on his ultrasound twice and non were given, they just told me to wait for a call from the Dr. Tomorrow and that if she didn't call, I should call them to check. After that someone else called me to tell me that the Dr. Had left early that day and not coming back in 2 days, but that she left an update for me. This was an incredible stressful and borderline ridiculous situation all together!! Definitely not taking my dogs back to this vet! You all clearly care more about the money than providing a good experience to your costumers

Honestly, I have been raving about my experience at the dentist's office. Who does that? From the person who answered the phone to the receptionist to the dental hygienist to the dentist, I was impressed with their kindness, thoroughness, and professionalism from start to finish. After my former dentist retired, I wasn't sure if I would find another dentist's office I was as happy with but I truly feel I lucked into the best.
