The exam was very complete. Following the exam several option were discussed concerning my pets treatment. Each was explain with all the pros and cons and the final decision was up to me what level of care my pet would receive.A very good experience for me and my pet.
I brought our dog in at about 7 AM for a procedure. I was a little surprised when I called at 10:30 and they hadn't even brought him in to start it. I wish they could have communicated this better in that I would have dropped him by somewhat later.
Hi Darren, I apologize for the misunderstanding. We do multiple surgeries and require all patients to be here between 7:00-7:30am. The reason for this is so we can complete their pre op exams, blood work and place IV catheters and etc. It's just like with human surgery where you get to the hospital at 7 for a 10am procedure. As you know, we also keep them in hospital until at least 3:00pm so we can monitor post op. Unfortunately dropping off later doesn't allow us enough time to prepare your pet for his surgery with the care and attention necessary.
