We have been going to Berkeley Minicar for many years to have our both our Hondas serviced. I can say with complete honesty that I feel 100% confident that I am getting the best service possible when I drop my cars off at Berkeley Minicar- whether its for a regular service or a major one or even if were repairing the car after having it stolen (multiple times!) and working with the insurance company. Jim has been amazing to work with all of these years and I am so happy that we have someplace to go where we don't even have to think twice about it!

I look forward to continuing our relationship with Berkeley Minicar for many years to come!

Simple, convenient, and friendly service. Came in for routine service on my Lexus Hybrid. The receptionist at the desk was polite and friendly. Got a detailed estimate of the service and verbal breakdown. Everything was clear and easy to understand. Drop off was easy, then at pickup, got a full verbal explanation on my cars status and the maintenance that was performed. All under a very reasonable cost! Couldn’t ask for a better service experience.

I've only had cause to use them once so far, but my experience there matched my friend's high regard for Berkeley Minicar, where she has gone for service for many years. Jim and Jerry are the best !!! They are always avaialble to assist in any of my routine or even quasi emergency needs with either of my 2 Civic sedans.. They are what great service is all about.. One time i was stranded and locked third gear on 880 southbound and needed to coast in neutral (87 Civic) and was towed all the way back from Union City to their shop and they just happened to have a unique screw which secured the shift linkage and fixed the tranny malfunction in about 15 minutes Charge me all of $30.00!!!! I will never forget the incident nor their good natured attitude . They are superb, helpful mechanics and they continue great service today as they have for so many years.. Understand that I don't look forward to their retirement !!
