Dr.Michael Singer is a lifesaver, literally!
I lost my forehead, part of frontal lobe, complete middle of my face including nose, upper palate, top lip and all of the bone, tissue, of my mid face. Dr's in Atlanta gave me less than a 2% chance of survival WITH the radical surgery to remove the 3, stage 4 tumors and 36 radiation treatments.
The ability to speak clearly, to chew, to swallow easily...all gone!
My wife and I met Dr. Singer in 2004.
Since then, I have been his patient and have found him to be kind, compassionate, caring, dedicated and unstoppable in the quest to help me feel as close to "normal" as possible.
We have experienced many highs and lows on our journey.
Through it all, Dr.Singer has encouraged me, and my wife and we are continuing on the journey to see me be able to chew without using my fingers to mash the food on my bottom teeth. To hear me speak to my wife, children, grandchildren, and to support groups, clearly. To find me able to help others because I am being helped.
I know that I matter to him. I know that he is concerned for me when things go wrong with the facial reconstruction.
He is a good man and we feel blessed and honored to call him our friend as well as my doctor.
