I went in to get a cavity filled that was diagnosed by the HYGIENIST during a cleaning!! ,Apparently, she had no business diagnosing it. However, the dentist looked at my teeth, and told me I didnt have a tooth where the supposed cavity was. During my visit a couple of weeks ago for the cleaning, the same dentist notice a cracked tooth, and advised me to have it capped. Since the cavity was no longer the issue, the dentist eagerly volunteered to go ahead and begin capping proceedures instead. I agreed. The procedure went fine, and I'm now waiting for the permanent cap. I would have been upset if I made a wasted trip, but luckily, I had another oustanding issue with the cracked tooth. This hygienist may need checking up on before patients make sick leave plans for appointments.
