I got a massage Monday night and it was quite possibly the worst massage I have ever gotten. The facility was fantastic, but two days later and I have multiple bruises on my body. At one point I thought that she had to be joking being like Monica Gellar from Friends. She talked the entire time, even telling herself “okay I’ll be quiet now” only to talk 2 minutes later. She was young and didn’t have much experience, maybe I can blame it on that. Maybe it was the last appointment of the day so she was spent. I am not sure. I am sure that it was an awful experience and I am sad I have to write a review like this.

Had a great massage yesterday with Jasmine. Everything she did felt amazing. I left feeling physically and mentally refreshed.

Lora was amazing!! She figured out that my hips and glutes were super tight and that was adding to my already troubled back. I have been to multiple other places and nobody has ever even mentioned that my hips could be contributing.

Lora knew exactly what she was doing, explained it to me and was nice to talk to throughout the massage

I was very excited for my 80 minute massage I had scheduled at Beyond Spa. I have several friends who love to go here and have given rave reviews. I have has several massages in the past at other spas and wish always wish that I would make time to get them more often....however, based on this one experience at Beyond Spa, I definitely wouldn't go back. My masseuse, didn't seem to know what he was doing. It was an odd experience. It seemed I got a basic rub down, with occasional bouts of me wanting to sit up and ask him what he was doing?! When he massaged my scalp, I felt like he was scratching a dog. He literally just scratched my head for 5 minutes. My hand massage was so basic it was disappointing, and my feet...it was like they were being attacked. He went at them like he was rubbing a stain out of the carpet. It was all very odd.

That being said, the place was beautiful, and I am sure there are several really great massage therapists that work there, I just sadly didn't get to experience one of them.

I am disappointed with the lack of planning. I arrived 15mins early (as instructed) and waited 20mins for the massage therapist to come and get me. During the massage I could hear loud talking and laughter. It was distracting and not relaxing at all.

I requested a package deal that included a facial, massage and foot scrub.

I did not receive the foot scrub even though I had been there 20mins early. When I left it was 9 so no way to get it done. Very disappointing..
