I love Bikram yoga Fremont I'm grateful for my teachers and space to practice and embrace my yoga so please don't take the following critisism as a negative:
We need the mister fixed
We need personal small lockers for cell phones, wallets and keys
we need a second shower
We need to enforce the late policy.
Many thanks to Bikram yoga Fremont I don't know how to express all my gratitude for what you do for me my fellow yogis and the planet. Much love, Scott

I went to this studio when it first opened and loved it. Decided to try it again and not as enthusiastic. The flooring has been changed to a vinyl floor which may be easier to clean, but I don't like for doing yoga. The ceiling panels are noticeably dirty in a few spots. They've added rocks around the perimeter of the room which is a nice touch. They were two humidifiers on the floor that were loud and distracting. The heating of the room was not the best. The teacher who taught the class and check me in, Brian, seemed nice enough but his style of teaching was very distracting...almost to the point of being mean spirited. His delivery of the steps for the yoga was a cross between a boxing and a horse racing announcer… so distracting and almost laughable (he may have thought it was a fun way of delivering it...but it took away too much from the pose and distracts the students). He pulled out my arm to correct me in my triangle pose twice, which I thought was very unprofessional… Especially since he didn't know me before that. I don't think teachers should touch students unless they ask first...he didn't know if my shoulder may have been injured or what. At the end of class which is supposed to be a quiet time for us to lie in savasana, he decided to chant for the two minutes. That is the student's time to reflect on the class and stay in silence. His chanting may be something he's used to in other forms of yoga, but it shouldn't be part of Bikram's style. I'll make sure to look at the schedule prior to going next time to make sure I don't get him, and if that chanting is the norm with the other teachers, then I'll probably just not return.

just curious: when is the "mist" going to be fixed?

Though studio and instructors are good. however, there are scopes of improvement like:
- Timekeeping for each class i.e. try to finish in stipulated time.
- There is only one bathroom for both men and women, which is problematic
- lots of spiders or insects in the studio.
- Hygiene level of studio needs improvement

I went to practice on Wednesday and found out the steam system is broken. I wish you can repair the system . Without it, the feeling is not as good as before. Otherwise, everything is good.
Thank you.

I really like this studio. Greg, the owner, owns several in the Bay Area and this is the first one. It's close to central Fremont. The floors ARE NOT carpeted and this is a smart business move. Just makes sense, right? Sweat dripping off of you in 105 degrees w/20% humidity in a carpeted area? Nope! Not for me. That's a plus here! The teachers change a lot but that's to be expected.
One thing I wish the owner would is update the heater and steamer. It's time. Wear and tear on these critical components is vital for good Bikram yoga sessions.
Happy yoga'ing!
