Terrific service! both the tech and the vet greeted our Jasper with sincere warmth and certainly made him feel at ease. My impression is that Jasper received the best of care. The vet gave a clear idea of the diagnosis and treatment plan and answered my questions. In all, a very satisfactory visit.

We love Blake Vets! The entire staff are wonderful. The vets do such a great job with all our various fur babies. We would highly recommend them to everyone.

As always I’m very pleased with Blake Vets professionalism and kindness. My German Shepard, named Titan sez he’ll go back anytime.

Our visit was different than normal. It was very busy, new staff member being trained, over booked appointments, poor mixture of pets in the waiting area, and an appointment that was fragmented with two other pet owners at the same time. Chaos best describes a visit that was supposed to last an hour at most ended up being 2 1/2 hours long. We hope this scenario was a one-off occurrence. Care for our pet cat was good.

Dr. Blake saved my first dog's life when she had a severe attack of Lyme disease. He really cares about the animals. There have been some personnel issues here, but it seems to be running on a steady keel now. Dr. Blake offers low cost rabies clinics & sedated manual dental scaling for some dogs; both of these are real budget savers.

The rating is difficult to do, normally 5 stars. We love our vets, they give great care to our furbabies, with compassion and gentleness; providing us with clear and concise directions for continuation of care. Our most recent visit brought us in with our youngest kitty who had an injury which we were unsure of how it happened. The vet and vet tech handled him with care and professionalism and asked questions to gain knowledge of how he was injured; we gave as much information as we knew however the injury did not occur in front of us.

The front desk admin is where we feel the customer service experience was lacking, both at drop off and at pick-up. When we brought him in to drop off, she acted as though we were putting her out and was frustrated with us that were didn't have an appointment when the notes from 2 days before said to bring him in and drop him off for x-rays. When we picked him up, it was clear that she felt that we had been abusing our kitty...tisking us. We do not know what happened to him, we just wanted him well.

Thankfully, our boy saw Dr. Kim McGill. She's amazing and truly a lover of animals on top of being a great vet. Our boy is on the mend, and we plan to continue to take all our furbabies to Blake Vet as most are wonderful to work with there!
