I appreciate that I was able to bring my cat in on a Sunday as he was having a health crisis. I also appreciate that the vets seem to take a practical, down-to-earth approach in diagnosing the problem with a minimum of tests (which can get expensive FAST), and recommended a treatment that so far seems to be helping my cat to feel better, without costing an arm and a leg.
I dreaded bringing my cat to a vet, which I probably should have done sooner, because it really stresses my cat out big time, and I dreaded being guilt-tripped if I didn't ante up for a battery of expensive tests, etc. I came to this vet based on the experience of a friend who found that these people level with you, don't push for a bunch of expensive stuff, and seem sensitive to the fact that most of us can't afford a ton of expensive diagnostic tests and treatments, and might not choose to put an animal through certain treatments, anyway.
They seem like more of old fashioned (in a good way), down-to-earth vets that rely on their own expertise and experience, rather than over-depending on expensive, state-of-the-art technologies that cost a lot of money, perhaps needlessly. I gave a 4 star rating as it is still early days in terms of how my cat's treatment turns out, but so far, I am pleased, and this may become a 5 star rating in time.
Thank you for being there for my cat and me.
