I have had positive experiences with Bloorcourt in the past but am now strongly considering switching clinics as your policy of not allowing pet owners into the clinic drags on. All of the other clinics I am familiar with have lifted their covid policy and allow pet owners into the checkup rooms with their pets (wearing a mask). It is time for Bloorcourt to do the same. I have two extremely anxious and fearful cats and going to the vet is already a traumatic experience for them. It is a much less upsetting experience when we are able to join them for their appointment. On top of that, to make the pets wait on busy Bloor St with TTC buses and bikes rushing by in an extremely negative experience.

This is experience was not as positive as past experiences at this clinic. I found it impersonal. I understand the COVID protocols, however a clear explanation of the process and what was happening as well as a short discussion would have been useful for all. I completed the online survey in advance and then asked to complete a paper version of the same survey a second time when I arrived. Staff seemed annoyed with me as they assumed I had not completed the online survey without inquiring. The COVID protocols employed are beyond current provincial and PHAC guidelines and served to severely compromise the customer experience since staff did not bridge the gap with communication and friendly service.

Service and staff are exceptional! Mark Kinghorn is a wonderful vet and super nice person. He takes the time to explain everything and provide practical solutions. You never feel rushed and get exceptional value for his time and expertise.
