Dr. Joanne Halbrecht is a board certified orthopedic surgeon fellowship trained in sports medicine with over 20 years of expereince. She specializes in the conservative and operative treatment of sports injuries. Dr. Halbrecht has been recognized for her expertise in arthroscopic surgery. As a result, she has taught courses in knee and shoulder arthroscopy to orthopedic surgeons from all over the world. She has several publications in orthopedic journals and has been a team physician for hockey and football. She has utilized her degree in engineering serving as a consultant for orthopedic design and development.

When I needed to reschedule my surgery date, the staff immediately helped me adjust the appointments, gave me a reminder card, and answered all of my cost questions; they're very helpful and thorough.
Even though I arrived 45 minutes early for appointment, I still was not taken to room until 15 minutes after my appointment time.

We try our best to accommodate schedule changes. We are happy that you were satisfied with the way we handled your situation. Appointments are made for specific times to give each patient individualized attention for their specific problem. This includes coordinating staff for taking xrays, cast and brace application, MRI reviews and evaluation of new , follow-up, postoperative and emergency patients . We are often able to see patients sooner than their scheduled appointment if they arrive early and it is rare that we run late. We apologize for the inconvenience and long wait time.
