I love my appointments every week at this chiropractic and wellness center. Pamper yourself and let the staff take care of you. They put the capital L on luxurious and the W on wellness. Sign in with your phone number using a touch screen.
Then assess what body parts bother you that day. Pick your neck or shoulder or hips or knees remembering that each body part requires a different screen upon sign in. You might be there all day if you have lots of aches. Just pick the most bothersome.
Then relax and enjoy the experience of real wellness treatments soothing those troublesome joints - electric stimulation, 8 minute ultrasound, 10 minute massage - then meet Dr. Bowen for your adjustment.
Surprise yourself because you will feel 100% refreshed and better when you make your next appointment on your way to enjoy the rest of your day.
If you are a veteran like I am, contact your primary care team to request (through the Community Care program) to get treatment at Bowen Chiropractic Wellness center.
Another benefit are the other wellness services they provide. The VA pays for my chiropractic but also my weekly acupuncture sessions with Mary O'Neil.
I’ve had acupuncture for over 20 years treating various maladies such as food addictions, depression, chronic pain, and most recently traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Mary’s method of acupuncture method is wonderful for my body, mind, spirit and overall wellness. It can be for you too. Highly recommend Mary.
Also I’ve discovered an extra service (non VA) is their ionizing foot treatments. Oh My Gosh. Ionizing draws the destructive free radicals from your cells, blood and bodily fluids and somehow leeches it out of your feet into the water bath.
Be prepared to be mildly grossed out.
Google ionizing and learn more about it the book an appointment for your first jaw-dropping salt water bath session wit Chris or Gizelle or other lady's names I forget..
A 30 minute Ionizing foot water bath is shocking when you realize how truly toxic your body is by the color of the water. Magically the ionizer is a simple black unit resting on the bottom in the bucket of warm salted water.
Don’t ask me how or why. Ionizing is worth every penny I pay for it (currently $35 each or 12 sessions for $300). It is awesome to watch the water turn from clear to ugly slimy gross colors as the 30 minutes tick by. Imagine the worst pond scum of browns, flecks of black, red, green, white foamy bubbles and all of it stored in your internal organs - liver, pancreas, kidneys, joints, lymph nodes - gently safely leaving your body. Oh and the water often has putrid stinky and odiferous.
Isn’t that a wonderful way to end your spa treatment at Bowen’s place?
