Welcome to Braescroft Animal Clinic, located in southwest Houston. At Braescroft Animal Clinic we believe that while you make your pets happy, together we can keep them healthy. We are a small animal and exotics clinic, offering exams by appointment for both well and sick patients, surgery, and dental health care. Special needs such as drop-offs can be accommodated when necessary. Drs. Lisa Lowenstein and Stephen Chmaitelli, along with their experienced staff believe in the family doctor philosophy, and enjoy getting to know our clients and patients as individuals and friends. Client education is a major emphasis, because we know that an informed client is a better partner in their pet's health care. Our goal is to help our patients grow and mature from puppies and kittens into adults and finally seniors while keeping them healthy and happy. While we can diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, our doctors understand that there are times when our patients are best served by referring to one of our areas specialists or our emergency clinic. I took my cocker spaniel in for an annual exam and I thought the vet was very knowledgeable and thorough, and generous with her time. The tech also was very experienced and helpful. The fees were reasonable and the location is very convenient for me.
My only negative comment is that the facility smelled of mold. I mentioned this to both the receptionist and the tech. The receptionist too smelled something but the tech said she did not smell anything.
I'd feel a lot more comfortable returning to this clinic if they could determine and fix the source of this smell.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. As an animal clinic, we often have odors from various sources, I'm sure you can imagine, and try to stay on top of them. I apologize if you were here during one of our less "fresh" times! We've added air purifiers to attempt to reconcile this issue.

My previous vet had sold his practice so I decided to look closer to home for a new vet. The staff was great, they clearly love the animals that come through their doors. My pup is a breed in development, and Dr. Lowenstein had taken the time to look the breed up online so that she could determine the best care for him. So far I'm very happy with my decision.

Dr. Löwenstein and the staff are amazing listeners they really pay attention to my chiweenie and the smallest concern they take seriously. They don’t forget a thing! Great notifications and calls for due shots. My dog loves finding a toy laying around while we wait and likes the big windows she doesn’t shiver while waiting as much as any of the other places. She wags her tail after there done examining her I know she’s in the right place for care.

What am I looking for in an auto repair shop? Honesty, diagnostic capability (versus hit-and-miss part swapping at my expense), courtesy, and professionalism. These attributes seem self-evident, but are so hard to find today in the auto maintenance service sector. Eurocar-werk is unique and a definitive exception. That's why I'm a repeat customer and recommend them to friends and colleagues. In my service visit this week, Eurocar-werk again delivered and made me smile. Eric, the owner, discussed my Boxster's immediate problem with me personally. He noted additional work that could be performed, but was not pushy at all about pursuing it. He returned my vehicle at the promised time (faster than I imagined possible), problem solved, and pricing was fair. I left the shop with the feeling a friend had helped me out of a bind.
